Da última vez que estava tentando resolver este problema compilei um
novo kernel vmlinuz-2.6.23.1 mas quando digito o comando iwlist wlan0
scan aparece a seguinte mensagem de erro.
kasv021:/home/fernando# iwconfig
lo no wireless extensions.
eth1 no wireless extensions.

Atualmente tenho neste notebook instalado o Debian 4.0 stable e não sei
qual é a melhor forma de atualizar o wireless-tools já que no
repositório do stable não consigo uma versão mais atual...
Alguém tem alguma idéia do que posso fazer?
