Problema com VMware-server-1.0.7 no Debian Lenny

Eu instalei o "VMware-server-1.0.7-108231.tar.gz" aplicando o patch "vmware-any-any-update117d.tar.gz". Segui o "http://www.dicas-l.com.br/dicas-l/20080927.php"  para resolver possíveis problemas. Então instalo e executo tudo certo. Então criei uma nova máquina virtual. Até aí tudo certo, mas depois quando aperto "Power" para ligar a máquina virtual, aparece o seguinte erro no modo debug: Unable to change virtual machine power state: The process exited with an error: vmxvmdb: Index name being generated from config file POST(no connection): Version mismatch with vmmon module: expecting 138.0, got 168.0. You have an incorrect version of the `vmmon' kernel module. Try reinstalling VMware Server. POST(no connection): Failed to initialize monitor device. Failed to initialize VM. End of error message.
