Digito "e" para editar o arquivo e encontro:
insmod part_msdos
insmod ext2
set root='(hd1, msdos1)'
search --no-floppy --fs-uuid --set

Se digito Ctrl+C e entro no bash do grub escrevendo "ls"
Encontro (hd0) (hd0,msdos1) (hd0,msdos3) (hd0,msdos2) (hd0,msdos1)
Alguma sugestão?

Verirfique se o HD está reconhecendo ou se o mesmo está montando automático.
Se tiver tudo ok então entre no terminal e digite update-grub2 se não
resolver terás que verificar o arquivo /etc/grub.d/10_linux ou
adicionar suas entradas em 40_custom
