Adquiri há algum tempo um notebook Acer eMachine E725 no qual instalei o Debian Lenny. Este modelo de notebook tem um monitor 16:9, permitindo resolução de 1368x768. Infelizmente, não houve jeito de ativar esta resolução, mesmo mexendo no xorg.conf, Section "Monitor" Identifier "Configured Monitor" Horizsync 30-71 Vertrefresh 50-160 Modeline "1368x768_85.00" 125.67 1368 1456 1600 1832 768 769 772 807 -HSync +Vsync EndSection Section "Screen" Identifier "Default Screen" Monitor "Configured Monitor" DefaultDepth 24 SubSection "Display" Depth 24 Modes "1366x768" "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480" EndSubSection EndSection Fico limitado a 1024x768. Recentemente, instalei o kernel 2.6.26-2-686 na expectativa de que os módulos mais atuais resolvessem. Infelizmente, não foi este o caso.
