Para voce usar isso, voce precisa antes setar a distribuicao padrao no
apt.conf:
,----[ /etc/apt/apt.conf ]
| APT::Default-Release "stable";
`----
E precisa colocar as linhas da testing e/ou unstable no
/etc/apt/sources.list.
