Para preservar a facilidade que o Debian oferece na manuntenção do sitema (instalação e remoção de pacotes) eu aconselho a todos que queiram instalar pacotes compilados, a fazê-lo usando apt-get source, editando o aquivo debian rules e dpkg-build.
