Intengo hacer la instlaaci�n del synaptic, pero por alguna raz�n sigue con la instalaci�n del hylafax-server, y me da un error. Parece que la instalaci�n est� a medias, y no hay forma de limpiarla...

ksynaptics - A KDE application to configure Synaptics TouchPad
xfree86-driver-synaptics - Synaptics TouchPad driver for XFree86 server
No es lo mismo synaptics acabado en "s" que sin s.
Synaptics es ek driver que se utiliza para el touchpad de los
port�tiles.
Para KDE tambi�n tienes Kpackage, el mejor sin duda es synaptic.
