Hi, tal ves tu proveedor configuro el servidor para que te autentifiques antes de enviar correo, esta es una medida contra el spam :-P.
Checa tu configuraci�n de salida de smtp y activa esta opcion, ingresando tu nombre de usuario, posteriormente thunderbird te preguntara de nuevo tu password.
