Sino nos dices como lo tienes configurado no podremos ayudarte.
Tienes toda la razon, pero el xserver-xfree86-dbg dice lo siguiente:

Creo que no me exprese correctamente y queria indicar que el xserver-xfree86-dbg
no me ha aportado nada nuevo, incluso haciendo un poco de analisis.
Por otra parte te paso el resultado de un lspci.

Resultado de ejecutar el ddcprobe:

Nota: el XF86Config-4 no aporta demasiada informaci�n para un analisis, por ello
lo obvio.
�Que informaci�n adicional necesitas?
Lo que si hace la E450 cuando arranca, es detectar el monitor que tiene
enchufado
y cambia el modo de trabajo, en base a esto luego el SILO configura la
resoluci�n
del fb o eso es lo que parece que hace.
Alguna idea ...
