Hola, soy novato en linux y he instalado la Debian Sarge 3.1. Pero cuando la instalé me di cuenta de que venia con el kernel 2.4.27-2-386 y que habia otros mas actualizados. Como tengo un AMD k8 pues usando el synaptic me baje el kernel 2.6.8-11-amd64-k8 y el kernel-header y todo parece que fue bien. Aunque ahora ya no me deja iniciar con el kernel antiguo...
Pero mi problema es a la hora de instalar el vmware, cuando lo instalaba con el kernel 2.4.x no hay problema pero cuando lo hago con el 2.6.x empieza bien a instalarse pero cuando intenta buscar modulos vcomm o intenta generarlos utilizando las gcc me da el siguiente error ... ...
