Es un bug conocido: #195018, #214666 y otros.
Se debe, por lo visto, a tener demasiadas lineas en sources.list
toursst es símplemente el nombre del paquete cuya descripción estaba
leyendo cuando falló.
Dicen que se le puede dar la vuelta:
Change APT::Cache-Limit (man apt.conf) to 12582912 or some other
value in a similar range to keep them all. Or upgrade apt to
0.5.5.1. (caveat emptor, it may be buggy)
Si, pido disculpas... había buscado la línea que no era en Google :P
en fin.. solo para que quede documentado otra vez, la solución rápida es
agregar lo siguiente al final de /etc/apt/apt-conf
APT::Cache-Limit "25165824
