Federico, gracias por el dato de ntop, pero cuando busco información me dice ésto con apt-cache show ntop Description: display network usage in top-like format ntop is a Network Top program. It displays a summary of network usage by machines on your network in a format reminiscent of the unix top utility. It can also be run in web mode, which allows the display to be browsed with a web browser. Me parece que es para controlar tráfico en una red más que para la hora...corrígeme si me estoy equivocando. Según lo que llevo entendido, ntpdate corrige la hora cada vez que se ejecuta, en cambio con ntpd debería estar sincronizado constantemente con el pool de ntp, pero por alguna razón ésto no pasa, parece que nunca logra sincronizarse. Las configuraciones que tengo son: En /etc/default/ntp es: NTPD_OPTS='-g' En /etc/ntp.conf es: server ar.pool.ntp.org No hay ninguna otra línea en ninguno de esos archivos además de los que escribí, no se si estará haciendo algo. Además me llama la atención que no cree el archivo /var/log/ntpd, como he leído en muchos lugares, ya que al menos podría ver que es lo que está fallando.
