instala el gnome-screensaver o el xscreen-saver y lo tendrás CON CONTRASEÑA (con el metapaquete gnome-desktop-environment si se instala) Este "bug" ha dejado flipando a más de un windowsero en mi trabajo, al ver como en mi máquina podemos estar 2,3,4...n usuarios simultáneamente sin cerrar la sesión de ninguno :) Lo mismo que del tty1 al tty6 hay consolas, del tty7 al tty12 puedes tener distintos gdm/sesiones gráficas.
