Listeros & RaptoR:
¡ ... Y se hizo la magia! PROBLEMA RESUELTO
Para ser honesto... no se como, pero sucedio...
Unicamente segui las indicaciones de RaptoR y la automagia se hizo, claro,
considero que es la tasa de refresco. Aunque ya lo habia intentado, creo, no
lo sé, es que si algun otro dato llegaba a faltar o estar mal, simplemente
no funcionaba. Necesito empaparme mas sobre este aspecto, porque me gustaría
saber manejarlo con mayor cuidado.
Agradezco profundamente a RaptoR (en esta ocasión) y a todos los listeros
que me han brindado su apoyo.

La respuesta esta aqui:
RaptoR me paso un archivo configurado, que no se de donde lo saco. Me dijo
que lo reemplazara por el mio.
reiniciel el servidor Xorg
/etc/init.d/kdm restart --> en caso de usar kdm
La solucion al problema estaba aquí.
