La tarjeta PCMCIA US Robotics USR5410 funcionaba con Lenny. Esta tarjeta tiene el chipset de Texas Instruments que funciona con el driver ACX100/111 y el firmware que no es libre "tiacx". La estoy usando en una lapto Fujitsu Amilo-EL Series La salida de "lspci" es: Network controller: Texas Instruments ACX111 54 Mbps Wireless Interface Al pasar a Squeeze note que ya no se incluía el paquete con el modulo ACX100/111 compilado, así que seguí para testing. Hasta aquí todo bien. Despues de poner todo a funcionar en Wheezy solo me quedaba la tarjeta wireless de forma que me instalé las fuentes del modulo desde el paquete acx100-source Usando module-assistant compilé e instalé el modulo acx. Lo hice así: m-a prepare acx m-a build acx m-a install acx Acto seguido copié el firmware que usaba bajo Lenny a /lib/firmware. Inserté la tarjeta arranqué y al iniciar hald obtengo ... Kernel panic - not sync: stack protector : Kernel stack is corrupted in: c11db3be Este mensaje es invariable. Lo obtengo aún sin haber insertado la tarjeta si escribo "modprobe acx". Creo no haber omitido información necesaria para que me puedan señalar que hice mal, pues todo fue realizado completamente a ciegas.
