me autocontesto porque si revisaba antes, ni siquiera necesitaba preguntar o ir a buscar... a google :P de que se trata. Estuve revisando el directorio /etc/apt, y cambió mucho desde la última vez que lo vi, supongo que es lo malo de nunca reformatear porque el sistema anda bien; encontré un /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ y dentro de ese directorio había un google-earth.list que tenía: ### THIS FILE IS AUTOMATICALLY CONFIGURED ### # You may comment out this entry, but any other modifications may be lost. deb http://dl.google.com/linux/earth/deb/ stable main cabe notar que el google earth lo instalé en su momento desde un .deb, no es que yo haya agregado el repositorio para instalarlo por apt| aptitude|synaptics... y no, quiero que las actualizaciones sean MIS decisiones, esto de agregar un repositorio desde el que bajar software (¿que tal si la siguiente versión le agregan como dependencia a gran-hermano-pero-el-de-orwell.deb?), y hacerlo SIN preguntarme lo veo por lo menos como un troyano -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-spanish-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
