Hola de nuevo! Queria dejar solucionado este asunto YA!
Y he optado por hacer esto: # dpkg -P gimp # add-apt-repository ppa:otto-kesselgulasch/gimp # apt-get update # apt-get install gimp # apt-get install ppa-purge # ppa-purge ppa:otto-kesselgulasch/gimp # dpkg -P ppa-purge Ahora mis sistemas estan contaminados con un paquete que no corresponde a la version original de Debian o Mint, pero al menos puedo usar gimp cuando me hace falta. Si, lo he probado y funciona perfectamente... Por cierto, la version de gimp en el paquete de Otto es la 2.8.14... Segun he visto en http://www.gimp.org/downloads/ a dia de hoy, es la ultima estable que tiene publicada... y espero que sea para bien. Seguramente tambien podia haber traido el paquete desde Sid, pero he optado por hacerlo de esa otra manera. Gracias a tod@s! Y espero le sirva a alguien mas. Salud!!!
