El misterio del X11 =================== PROBLEMA Instalo el sistema X11 (lo m�ninmo task-x-nos�qu�-core, un gestor de ventanas y xterm). Configuro. Funciona. Tengo una pantalla LCD 800x600, tarjeta de video SMI LynxE y lo pongo a 24 bpp sin pegas. Estupendo. Instalo el KDE y alguna cosilla m�s. Funciona.
El problema viene a continuaci�n. Termino de instalar todos los dem�s paquetes relacionados con el X que me interesan y todo funciona. Rearranco el ordenador: ��no funciona m�s!!. Exactamente qu� me ocurre. Se ven perfectamente los gr�ficos pero no los textos. Bueno, en el KDE aparecen los "Kandalf's useful tips", y los botones de Previous, Next y Close (�gr�ficos?). Nada m�s. Posible soluci�n. Hay un problema con las fuentes. No. Est�n instalados los paquetes y por si acaso he hecho mkfontdir en los subdirectorios correspondientes. Me rindo. Ayuda.
