Despues de quejarme de gdm, kdm y xdm, ante m� la soluci�n.

He tocado un poco el mensaje para que sig�is mejor el hilo.
No os ri�is de m� ;-)

        The same thing happens with gdm.. so I guess its not a kde/kdm issue.

Y es todo por culpa de una peculiar man�a que yo tengo:
Cuando instalo una m�quina, lo primero que hago es tocar el /etc/inittab para
tener 9 en vez de las 6 consolas virtuales que vienen por defecto.
Estas cosas pasan, doy f� :-)
