Seguramente intentas hacer el telnet al nombre de la m�quina, y al intentar hacer la resoluci�n inversa, no existe en el DNS. Por eso te va lento.
La soluci�n ser�a meter el nombre de tu m�quina en la zona de resoluci�n inversa. Otra opci�n, para detectar si ese es realmente el problema, es meter en el fichero hosts de la m�quina desde donde ejecutas el cliente el nombre de tu m�quina y tu IP. Al resolver, la conexi�n te ir� perf�ctamente. Pru�balo, y nos cuentas.
