Mensaje de XFree86

Hola a todos...

Despues de actualizar XFree a 4.1.0-15, cuando ejecuto :
        startx /usr/bin/startkde

obtengo un mensaje que encuentro poco explicativo:

giving up
xinit: No such file or directory (errno 2): unable to connect to X server
xinit: No such process (errno 3): Server error.

Y no arranca el entorno grafico.

�Que quieren decir estos mensajes?
