Hola que tal, en varias compaq presario el problema se solucionaba
simplemente dando de alta la interfaz. Incluso si se compilaba el
soporte en el kernel (no como modulo) pero no se daba de alta la
interfaz de red a cada rato mandaba ese mensaje, pero en cuanto se
levantaba cesaba, por lo que se deba de alta la interfaz al iniciar al
sistema y nos olvidamos de eso. Espero que te sirva.
