Hola listeros...... Recurro a ustedes una vez m�s, ya que creo haber agotado mis recursos para solucionar este cacho.

Tuve que instalar otra NIC. - o - o - o - o - o - o - o - o - o - o - o - o - o - o Al momento de instalar el xserver-xfree86 le indico el drivers "sabage" para la tarjeta de video.. ahora mi duda es si �tambien se debe instalar el modulo en el kernel para que funcione? ya que este no esta disponible o no se cual es el apropiado... Al hacer lsmod no lista nada relacionado con VGA y el comando lspci devuelve en una de sus lineas "01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: S3 Inc.: Unknown device 8d04". Desintale todos los paquetes relacionado con las X (kde, kdm, xserver-xfree86), con el comando update-rc.d -f.. Y volvi a instalar todo nuevamente despues de reiniciar la maquina. Tampoco Funko!!!!!! Busque informacion en el sitio de debian.org - hardware soportado. Tambien drivers alternativos, pero no pasa naa!! Mi pregunta es si a algun listero le ha tocado esta experiencia y cual es la solucion.
