Que yo recuerde el m�dulo slip no viene compilado por defecto en el
kernel 2.4.18bf24, tendr�as que recompilar y habilitarlo...

Voy a ver a /etc/modules.conf y no est� el famoso tty-ldisc-1.
Googleando encontr� que el tty-ldisc-1 es un alias de slip. Entonces
agrego a mi modules.conf (por medio de modutils) la linea
alias tty-ldisc-1 slip
Igual no funciona :(
Pruebo con:
ayke:~# modprobe slip
modprobe: Can't locate module slip
Alguna idea.
