Yo no uso initrd ni kpkg pero si el kernel que hiciste e instalaste usa initrd, calculo que se habr� instalado como el paquete que se puede bajar precompilado: te hizo un link en el directorio ra�z llamado /initrd.img? Si es as�, en grub/menu.lst tendr�as que agregar la l�nea: initrd=/initrd.img (mir� abajo) debajo de la l�nea de ese kernel. Sds.
