i remember seeing that once before, though on a freebsd box. from googling, and my own vague memory, i believe it has to do with disk space allocation, as in the partition to be written to can't accommodate the amount to be written. on the bsd box, of years back, i believe i had mistakenly set the root partition to the same disk area as the swap space. hope my previous stupidity helps. ben -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
