The release will be announced this weekend. Release 6 has actually been available since October 6. We've delayed an announcement because the manual updates aren't finished yet. I'm finishing these updates as quickly as I can, but I'm (admittedly) a fairly slow writer. I'm hoping to have the manual available pretty soon, but I don't appear to be very good about predicting when that will be, so we shouldn't delay announcing the release any longer.
In any case, I agree with Bill that we should announce the release soon. I'll make an announcement as soon as the next set of diskettes are available. Bruce uploaded new boot/base diskettes yesterday, and I'll be uploading a new rootdisk that supports these changes tomorrow.
