Shouldn't this decision be made in (by) `/etc/init.d/gpm'?Personally, I think gpm should conflict with xbase until all the mouse drivers have been upgraded. Either that or include some reasonably fancy conflict detection/resolution program with gpm that can give a reasonable shot at keeping the system from becoming unusable. -- Raul
