Mirroring most of ftp.debian.org mine only consumes about 3-4 megs total.
Maybe it's because I've split it up into many packages of smaller size. But
I think this could easily run on a system with 8 megs of ram.
I recommend this program. The man pages are pretty descriptive, it has a
fairly easy to learn interface -- I had my first mirror running in one day.
