Oops!, Sorry to post again but my last one was wrong or at least misleading. [EMAIL PROTECTED] kindly pointed out that the default paper size in dvips's config.ps is A4 and that was the source of the offset margins. Commenting out the first A4 definition did the trick. I should have expected the default A4 configuration.
