Thanks to Dick Arnold for pointing out that I might have switched to the elf version of ext2fs.
That indeed is the problem. I attempted to purge the new ext2fs and reinstall the version in the 0.93R6 directory but could not as the filesystem was in use. What, if anything can I do to get everything working again? I have 0.93R6 boot, root, and base diskettes available and my boot diskette that I created once I had the system operational. My kernel is 1.2.13-6. Thanks in advance! Rod Cole
