For X (X-Terminal) a DX4-100' processor is fast enough. The graphics susbsystem is the bottleneck. If you have a expensive Accelerated Card with >=2MB Memory and un run an Accelerated (commercial) X-Server you will get a VERY fast X-Terminal. On a Pentium System you can do multitasking with a lot off PPL rather nicely.
