Ok. I managed to get the error "File too large" after setting the maximum file size to zero. I presume this is the same error; I can't find "File too big". Try the command "ulimit -f unlimited" to remove the file size limit. The only other place in the ext2 code which returns this error deals with files over 2Gb.
