Hello all,
after downloading and installing this version of xv, I get the error message
> xv: can't load library 'libX11.so.6'
The library resides in /usr/lib, and an 'ldconfig -p' gives
> 27 - DLL libX11.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.so.6.0
The executable is an ELF binary:
> /usr/X11R6/bin/xv: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1
ELF support is enabled ('lsmod':)
> Module: #pages: Used by:
> binfmt_elf 3 0
> nfs 11 1 (autoclean)
Kernel version is 1.3.71 with kerneld installed (okok, it's not from
the stable tree :)
I wonder whether I missed the appropriate library package? Or is it a bug
in the xv-package?
WHY can't I execute xv?
