I recently installed debian .93R6. My CD-ROM is a Sanyo H94A which is supported in the 1.3.15 kernal. Should I re-compile the kernal with the 1.3.15 release to get support for my cd or is there another way to do this with the Debian package?
Are there any other packages I need before I re-compile? Steve Taetzsch
