Is there supposed to be a "makewhatis" somewhere in the Debian distribution? I keep getting: apropos: warning: can't read the fallback whatis text database. apropos: /usr/man/whatis: No such file or directory apropos: warning: can't read the fallback whatis text database. apropos: /usr/X11/man/whatis: No such file or directory
In other distributions they have a "maakewhatis" to build the man page
indexes.
