aaaaInstall the X packages from Debian, except the X server. Use the server from XFree86-3.1.2D; put it in /usr/local/bin. Everything should work. (The xterm in the Debian X packages is statically linked with a small part of ncurses, not termcap.) Steve Early [EMAIL PROTECTED]
