Well, I finally got my ethernet card working. In the grand tradition of people in a big hurry I... punted. I grabbed a 3c509 card that was laying around, shoved it into my computer, rebuilt the kernel, and voila!
So now I can ping the computer from the net, and I've changed the default state to 3 (inittab), but... sigh... The ftpd and telnetd seem to sort of just hang. I telnet in from another machine, it connects, but no login prompt. Any ideas? ------------------------------------- Name: Ben Goodwin
