Hi, What i understand that clamav is command line virus scanner with a milter & daemon. Database can be updated from clamav site.It is true that it can scan other drive/device(windows) also, but all manually.I don't know about linux virus.Clamav Database is how far updated/useful & What viruses from both windows & linux can be cleaned are not known. What about discontinuation/replacement of clamav by debian? Also volatile should be included in section "origin" of Synaptic pkg. chkrootkit may be included in volatile for regular update, if any. regards, gnath -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
