Hi everyone, Has debian entered into an infinite loop or a recursive function without a base case (and if the latter, how much stack space is left before we seg fault)?
Either way, can someone submit a clean patch to fix this: It seems that a bunch of nice code has been presented but none of the boundary cases have been checked. Ignoring that, the patches do not appear to be healing the wound; if fact, it looks like they are attacking the the minor cuts and scrapes around it leaving the center to fester. Left long enough, this tender flesh will be attacked by vultures and chaos will rein. So, enough with the hacks. Sit back, rethink the algorithm and refer to Fredrick Brooks if necessary. When you find something apropos, send it along. Thanks a lot, -Neal -- Neal H Walfield University of Massachusetts at Lowell [EMAIL PROTECTED] or [EMAIL PROTECTED]
