Wouldn't it be better for people interested in opening the -private archives to try a pure opt-in approach first? (Which wouldn't require any change to current policies.)
I can see an argument in favour of publishing a redacted version of the whole archive (with e.g. phone numbers and addresses removed) after a long period (e.g. 10 years), but if only parts are to be made public then I can't yet see why an opt-out rather than opt-in system is fair. -- Moray -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
