No it's not. And hiding the technical restrictions of our voting system behind some elitism does not help. There is by the way a reason behind the requirement that votes should be as easy as possible to understand. I'm not saying that hex is too hard to understand (at least not for me) but it's not as easy as possible and should therefor not become a permanent solution.
