I do not second this proposal. I dislike the wording of this proposal. Ideally I would like for Debian project to evolve and move away from conflict based development model (upstream vs maintainer vs teams vs TC vs other DDs vs users). And instead drive towards a more consensus based and shared ownership development model. However, that's not the problems our developers and our distribution face today. The proposal as stated, has unbounded scope, which can be lead to unintended consequences and, in my opinion, enforces an extended interpretation of DSC/DFSG which we did not agree upon before. If your wish to have such a large scope, shouldn't instead the proposal be to revise the text of the Debian Social contract and/or Debian Free Software Guidelines? -- Regards, Dimitri. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
