That's not my perception. Out of all the proposals, I prefer "max" because it is elegant and simple; the other proposals involve slightly more complex formulas that require more effort to understand. I don't think "max" has such a goal of quickly converging (at least it's not what I like about it). As such, I would appreciate it if you could change that option to, say, postpone the first term expiration to 6 months after the passing of the GR, rather than one month.
