I believe that the combination is better than the original individual proposals. Have the original submitters consented to such a merge? I think that would be an important blocker before I could second this. If this merge would go ahead, I assume all the existing seconds would fall away and it would need new seconds. For the record, I don't mean to put any pressure on the secretary whatsoever to extend any deadline, I think there is enough options to put together a vote that can produce results that will be reflective of where we stand as a community, but I think with the proposed merge it would be a bit better and shouldn't delay things by much. And on a personal note, I think at some point you also need to let it be so that you don't lose any sleep about it and not forget to take care of yourself*. -Jonathan *Which is rich coming from me, because I've mulled a lot of the recent discussions in my head when I should have been sleeping myself. -- ⢀⣴⠾⠻⢶⣦⠀ Jonathan Carter (highvoltage) <jcc> ⣾⠁⢠⠒⠀⣿⡁ Debian Developer - https://wiki.debian.org/highvoltage ⢿⡄⠘⠷⠚⠋ https://debian.org | https://jonathancarter.org ⠈⠳⣄⠀⠀⠀⠀ Be Bold.
