Remember Debian could run in nuclear power plants and i'm not sure if we want to take that burden on the maintainer if incidents occur.
Notably, even that Gentoo policy explicitly doesn't forbid AI contributions to the upstream parts of the distribution. So when you are talking about "archives", "repos" and stability of the distro as installed on someone's machine you seem to be talking partially or mostly about things that Gentoo didn't, as you said, ban.
