That works both ways. If Ai contributed work gets forbidden, persons who enjoy the Ai assisted way of developing software will be forced to do that work outside Debian. That inevitably will cause some disengagement from Debian as well, just not because people feel like disengagng, but because their work has become verboten in Debian.

I think that's considerably worse.
