By ignoring a valid bug report, you're violating the social contract which
says that our focus is on our users.
That's another can of worms. Nowhere in the social contract do we
promise any focus on interacting with AI bots.
There is no objection against ignoring or rejecting slop. There is
objection against calling everything that ever has been near an LLM
during its creation process slop.
Would you want to force
people to spend time on dealing with the kind of slop "bug reports"
that the curl project has been infamously dealing with?
Of course not. Filing slop bug reports is not what i would call
responsible use and I do frown upon people doing so.
