Since a new upload has been done, this will not be necessary, sorry for the noise. About your question it was actually my first idea but then two thoughts occurred to me: 1) Asking for a dep-wait avoids a new upload (and a new version to store in snapshot, to download for users, etc..) 2) The package only needs a more recent gdb when compiled with gdb 4.9. If the compiler was dumber (less checks) or smarter (it can better understand the consequences of the situations it detects) it would not be a problem since gdb was working when compiled with the old source. Now it's true that the dependency in the package is better as it will prevent from gdb-arm-none-eabi to migrate before gdb and will make the situation clear in case a backport is attempted. Again, sorry for the noise. Best regards, Thomas -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
