I've started working on a MoinMoin Reader for Pandoc (which already has
a Mediawiki writer). It's my hope that, once it is in an adequate state,
we could start performing mass-import experiments. This would help to
find more bugs in the Reader (and possibly the Writer), by volunteers
inspecting the results, and a few cycles of iterating on that until the
fidelity was "good enough" and we could probably cut it.

This is not intended to invalidate Andrew's existing work. I am not
currently looking at the history-importing side of things, and that's
still very important (to me). I also intend to try and incorporate the
learnings about syntax awkwardness from the existing work into the
Pandoc Reader. I suspect we will flush out more cases where it will be
easier to make further mass-changes to the source pages, too.
